Itinerary 1: Seville – Madrid (7 days/6 nights)

1st Day: Seville – Cordoba
On the first day aboard the Al Ándalus Train, our staff will welcome you at 10:00 am at a designated landmark in Seville, the radiant Andalusian capital. This city, home to the largest historic center in Spain, greets us with a tour rich in art, history, and life. After a delicious lunch, we’ll enjoy a panoramic view of the city before boarding the Al Ándalus, a palace on rails.
A welcome drink accompanies the crew presentation as we settle into our elegant suites. Dinner is served onboard as the train makes its way to Córdoba, in an atmosphere of refinement and comfort. Overnight onboard in Córdoba.
NOTES:
For your convenience, we offer, at no additional cost, travel on regular high-speed trains (AVE, Alvia, or Avant) for both the outbound and return journeys:
– One journey to reach the starting point of the tour.
– One return journey from the final destination.
For example: if your departure city is Barcelona, we include train tickets Barcelona – Seville (outbound) and Madrid – Barcelona (return).
All combinations of cities are accepted, provided there are medium- or long-distance train connections between them.
Important: These tickets must be explicitly requested before the start of the trip.
In addition, you will have access to Renfe’s Club Lounges at the stations for both the outbound and return journeys.

2nd Day: Córdoba – Cádiz – Jerez
On this second day aboard the Al Ándalus, we wake to the aroma of breakfast on board and immerse ourselves in the monumental Mosque-Cathedral of Córdoba, a breathtaking architectural gem and a witness to the city’s glorious past as capital of the caliphate. As we stroll its streets, we trace the echoes of a city that once shone as a beacon of knowledge and power in the West.
Back on board, a gourmet lunch awaits as we cross the Andalusian landscapes toward Jerez de la Frontera. In the afternoon, we explore Cádiz, the charming “Silver Cup,” considered the oldest city in the Western world. Bathed by the Atlantic, it overflows with soul and character. Dinner in Cádiz and return to the train. Overnight in Jerez.


3rd Day: Jerez – Zafra
After breakfast, Jerez delights us with the renowned show “How the Andalusian Horses Dance”, a stunning equestrian ballet blending music, grace, and tradition. We continue with lunch in a local restaurant and visit a celebrated sherry winery, where we discover the soul of this iconic Andalusian wine.
Back on board, a relaxing dinner awaits as the train heads to the charming town of Zafra, in the heart of Extremadura. Overnight in Zafra.

4th Day: Zafra – Cáceres – Mérida
Breakfast is served as we journey toward Cáceres, a UNESCO World Heritage City that seems frozen in time. Walking through its cobbled streets, flanked by towers and palaces, is like stepping into a medieval set.
Back on the train, we enjoy lunch onboard en route to Mérida, another monumental jewel founded in 25 BC. In the afternoon, we explore its Roman legacy: theaters, temples, and aqueducts speak of the grandeur of a long-gone empire. Dinner and overnight in Mérida, surrounded by history and luxury.


5th Day: Mérida – Alcázar de San Juan
As each day begins, we enjoy breakfast before continuing our Al Ándalus journey.
We wake up in Mérida, still echoing with the presence of the Roman Colosseum. After breakfast, we continue exploring this ancient city, a living testimony to the legacy of the Empire. Timeless monuments guide us through history.
At midday, the Al Ándalus Train resumes its journey northward as we enjoy a refined lunch onboard. By late afternoon, we arrive in Toledo, the grand city of three cultures. Its medieval alleys, synagogues, mosques, and churches reflect centuries of coexistence and splendor. Dinner and overnight in Toledo.

6th Day: Alcázar de San Juan – Toledo – Aranjuez
While enjoying breakfast, the train gently brings us to Aranjuez, our starting point to explore majestic Toledo. A UNESCO World Heritage Site, Toledo was once among Europe’s most monumental cities. Christians, Muslims, and Jews lived side by side, leaving behind a cultural and architectural legacy of universal value.
During the visit, we discover its imposing Gothic cathedral, a 10th-century mosque, and ancient synagogues, each corner brimming with history. After a gourmet lunch in Toledo, we return to Aranjuez to explore its splendid Royal Palace, surrounded by gardens that once echoed with royal leisure and grandeur.
The day concludes with an elegant dinner aboard. Overnight onboard in Aranjuez.


7th Day: Aranjuez – Madrid
On the final day of our Al Ándalus journey, our onboard breakfast becomes a private celebration of the memories we’ve made. Though the journey comes to an end, the experience remains: ancient cities, authentic flavors, dreamlike landscapes, and the unmatched hospitality of our crew.
We bid farewell to this unforgettable adventure around 13:30h in Madrid, having crossed not just miles, but centuries of history, art, and emotion.
Itinerary 2: Madrid – Seville (7 days/6 nights)

1st Day: Madrid – Aranjuez
On the first day aboard the Al Ándalus Train, our staff will welcome you at 10:00 am at a designated landmark in Madrid, where we begin this luxurious journey with a panoramic tour of the Spanish capital. History, art, and vibrant life fill every corner of this cosmopolitan city.
After lunch in Madrid, we travel to Aranjuez, where the majestic Al Ándalus Train awaits. We toast to the beginning of the journey and settle into our elegant suites. Later, we visit the Royal Palace of Aranjuez and its gardens, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, where scenic beauty and royal grandeur intertwine.
We close the day with a delicious dinner onboard. Overnight in Aranjuez.

After breakfast, we head to the legendary city of Toledo, a UNESCO World Heritage Site that once stood as Europe’s most monumental imperial city. In its streets, the Christian, Muslim, and Jewish heritages live on through cathedrals, mosques, and synagogues, whispering centuries of shared history.
After a flavorful lunch and some free time to explore, we return to the train. As we dine onboard, Al Ándalus glides gently toward Alcázar de San Juan. Overnight on the train.


3rd Day: Alcázar de San Juan – Cáceres
Today we delve into the heart of La Mancha, a land of deep traditions and renowned flavors. After breakfast, we visit a craft cheese factory and a winery, where we’ll uncover the soul of this region’s celebrated products.
Following a local-flavored lunch, we head to Campo de Criptana, with its iconic windmills, the very ones that inspired Cervantes in the adventures of Don Quixote. At sunset, we return to the train, and during dinner, journey toward Cáceres. Overnight onboard.

4th Day: Cáceres – Mérida – Jerez
Breakfast on board welcomes us to Cáceres, a magical World Heritage City, where medieval streets, squares, and palaces transport us to another era. Culture and legend permeate every stone.
We then continue to Mérida, where we enjoy lunch before visiting this ancient Roman capital, founded in 25 BC. Theaters, temples, and aqueducts remind us of the might of Rome in Iberia.
We dine onboard as the train continues south toward Jerez de la Frontera. Overnight in Jerez.


5th Day: Jerez de la Frontera
We begin the day with breakfast on board. Then, we’ll enjoy Jerez and a truly unique performance: “How the Andalusian Horses Dance,” an elegant equestrian ballet accompanied by Spanish music. Jerez seduces us with its tradition and charm.
After lunch in a local restaurant, we visit one of the region’s most prestigious wineries, where we’ll discover how this Denomination of Origin wine is crafted. Dinner onboard and overnight in Jerez.

6th Day: Jerez – Cádiz – Córdoba
On this sixth day of the Al Ándalus 2026 journey, after a hearty breakfast onboard, we travel in a luxury coach to radiant Cádiz, known as the “Silver Cup.” Regarded as the oldest city in the Western world, its narrow streets and open squares invite us to get lost in its history, sea breeze, and joyful soul.
Back on the train, we enjoy lunch onboard as we head to Córdoba, another gem of the journey. We visit its world-famous Mosque-Cathedral, a majestic monument that tells the story of the former caliphate capital, a city that was once Europe’s most cultured and opulent.
Dinner and overnight in Córdoba.


7th Day: Córdoba - Seville
After breakfast, we arrive in Seville, city of light, art, and passion. With the largest historic center in Spain and declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site, Seville bids us farewell with a visit full of charm: fragrant gardens, historic streets, and monuments that touch the soul.
We conclude our Al Ándalus adventure around 13:30h in Seville, carrying with us a collection of landscapes, flavors, and emotions that will remain forever.
