Itinerary 1: Seville – Madrid (7 days/6 nights)

Sevilla - Tren Al Andalus

1st Day (Monday): Seville – Jerez

The journey aboard the Al Ándalus Train begins in Seville. At 10:00 a.m., our staff will welcome you at the Hotel Alfonso XIII, one of the city’s most iconic hotels. From there, you will begin to discover the monumental heritage and unique atmosphere of the Andalusian capital, a city full of history, art and life.

After lunch, one of the most special moments of the journey will arrive: boarding the Al Ándalus Train. On board, you will meet the crew, enjoy a welcome toast and settle into your elegant suite.

In the afternoon, the train will depart for Jerez de la Frontera, as the first sensations of this unique rail journey begin to unfold. Dinner on board and overnight in Jerez.

For your convenience, we offer, at no additional cost, travel on Renfe trains in Spain for both the outbound and return journeys:

– One journey to reach Seville.

– One return journey from Madrid.

For example: if you depart from Barcelona, we include train tickets Barcelona – Seville (outbound) and Madrid – Barcelona (return).

All combinations of cities in Spain are accepted, provided there are medium- or long-distance train connections between them.

In addition, you will have access to Renfe’s Club Lounges at the stations for both the outbound and return journeys.

2nd Day (Tuesday): Jerez

On this second day of the Al Ándalus Train 2027 itinerary, the day will be dedicated to Jerez de la Frontera, a city where tradition, wine, horses and flamenco form part of its deepest identity.

During the day, you will visit the city’s most iconic sites and discover its equestrian culture, enjoying the show “How the Andalusian Horses Dance”. In addition, you will visit a wine cellar and have free time to stroll peacefully through its streets and enjoy its atmosphere at your own pace.

The day will include lunch at a restaurant in Jerez and dinner on board, in the elegant and relaxed atmosphere of the train. Overnight in Jerez.

Cordoba, Spain
Cádiz - Tren Alandalus

3rd Day (Wednesday): Jerez -Cádiz – Córdoba

After breakfast, the journey will continue towards the Atlantic coast until reaching Cádiz, a bright city open to the sea and considered one of the oldest cities in the Western world.

During the visit, you will explore its historic centre, where you will discover its maritime essence, lively squares and the unique character of this city surrounded by the ocean.

Back on the train, you will enjoy lunch on board while the landscape accompanies the journey towards Córdoba. Upon arrival, you will have free time to begin exploring the city and enjoy its atmosphere at your own pace.

The day will be completed with dinner at a local restaurant. Overnight in Córdoba.

Caceres, Spain Tren Al-Andalus

4th Day (Thursday): Córdoba – Mérida

The morning will be dedicated to Córdoba, one of Andalusia’s great monumental treasures. During the visit, you will discover its historic centre and the impressive Mosque-Cathedral, a universal symbol of the Andalusian legacy and one of the most admired monuments in Spain.

After lunch on board, the train will continue its journey towards Mérida, a city closely linked to Roman history. Upon arrival, you will delve into its extraordinary archaeological heritage through some of its most representative monuments.

Dinner and overnight in Mérida.

5th Day (Friday): Mérida – Cáceres – Torrijos

On this fifth day of the journey, we will continue with the exciting itinerary of the Al Ándalus Train.

After breakfast, the journey will continue towards Cáceres, one of the best-preserved medieval cities in Europe and a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

During the visit, you will explore its historic centre, a monumental ensemble of cobbled streets, towers, palaces and squares that invite you to travel back in time. You will also have free time to enjoy the city calmly and discover its most special corners.

Later, the train will resume its journey towards Torrijos. Dinner on board in a relaxed and exclusive atmosphere. Overnight in Torrijos.

Toledo, Spain

6th Day (Saturday): Torrijos – Toledo – Aranjuez

After breakfast, you will visit Toledo, a unique city where centuries of history, art and cultures coexist. Declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site, Toledo preserves the legacy of Christians, Muslims and Jews in its streets, monuments and viewpoints.

During the visit, you will stroll through its historic centre and discover some of its most representative sites, in an experience full of heritage and beauty.

After lunch, the journey will continue towards Aranjuez, famous for its Royal Palace and gardens, which for centuries were linked to the leisure and grandeur of the Spanish monarchy.

To close the day, you will enjoy dinner on board while the train remains in Aranjuez. Overnight on board.

Toledo, Spain
Aranjuez, Madrid

7th Day (Sunday): Aranjuez – Madrid

In the final stage of the journey, you will enjoy your last breakfast on board the Al Ándalus Train. Before the experience comes to an end, you will complete your visit to Aranjuez, a city declared a UNESCO World Heritage Cultural Landscape and closely linked to the history of Spanish royalty.

Afterwards, the journey will continue to Madrid, where the gala lunch will take place. This moment will bring an unforgettable experience to a close, marked by heritage, gastronomy, landscapes and the elegance of travelling aboard one of Spain’s most exclusive tourist trains.

Itinerary 2: Madrid – Seville (7 days/6 nights)

Aranjuez, Madrid

1st Day (Monday): Madrid – Aranjuez – Torrijos

The journey begins in Madrid, where our staff will welcome you to start this experience aboard the Al Ándalus Train. The day will begin with a visit to the Spanish capital, a cosmopolitan city where history, art and urban life can be found around every corner.

The tour will reveal some of the most emblematic places in the historic centre, especially the area known as Madrid de los Austrias. You will stroll through such representative sites as Plaza de Oriente, the surroundings of the Royal Palace and Almudena Cathedral, Plaza de la Villa, Mercado de San Miguel, Plaza Mayor and Puerta del Sol, among other highlights.

After lunch in Madrid, the journey will continue to Aranjuez, where the majestic Al Ándalus Train awaits you. On board, you will meet the crew, toast the beginning of this experience and settle into your elegant suite.

Later, you will visit the Royal Palace of Aranjuez and its gardens, declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site as part of the Aranjuez Cultural Landscape. The beauty of its gardens and the grandeur of its historical legacy make this visit one of the great highlights of the first day.

The day will end with dinner on board while the train travels to Torrijos. Overnight on board in Torrijos.

Declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site, Toledo was for centuries a meeting point of cultures. Its streets preserve the legacy of Christians, Muslims and Jews, visible in its architecture, monuments and historic atmosphere.

During the visit, you will explore its old town and discover some of its most representative sites, such as its imposing Gothic cathedral, ancient synagogues and other places that tell centuries of history. You will also have free time to enjoy the city at leisure.

After lunch in Toledo, the journey will continue towards Cáceres. Dinner and overnight on board the train.

3rd Day (Wednesday): Cáceres – Mérida

The morning will be dedicated to Cáceres, a UNESCO World Heritage city whose historic ensemble allows you to step back into the Middle Ages through its squares, palaces, towers and cobbled streets.

Walking through its old town means entering one of the best-preserved monumental ensembles in Europe, where every corner seems to keep the echo of past times intact. You will also have free time to enjoy the city at your own pace.

Afterwards, the train will continue towards Mérida, an essential city for understanding Spain’s Roman legacy. Upon arrival, you will visit its main archaeological sites and discover the historical importance of ancient Emerita Augusta.

Dinner at a restaurant and overnight on board.

Merida, Spain

4th Day (Thursday): Mérida – Jerez

You will have breakfast on board as the train travels towards Andalusia until reaching Jerez de la Frontera, a city with its own distinctive identity, shaped by wine, horses and flamenco.

During the day, you will visit the city’s most important sites, enjoy a unique show, “How the Andalusian Horses Dance”, an elegant equestrian ballet accompanied by Spanish music, and also visit one of Jerez’s most renowned wineries, where you will discover the production process of this celebrated drink with Designation of Origin.

Later, the experience will continue with lunch at a local restaurant, and you will have free time to explore Jerez at your own pace and soak up its atmosphere.

Back on the train, dinner on board awaits you in a relaxed and elegant setting. Overnight in Jerez.

Merida, Spain
Jerez de la Frontera - Tren Al Andalus

5th Day (Friday): Jerez – Cádiz – Córdoba

After breakfast, the journey will continue towards Cádiz, considered one of the oldest cities in the Western world and one of the most characterful destinations in southern Spain.

During the visit, you will stroll through its historic surroundings and discover the bright, maritime character of a city open to the Atlantic. Its streets, squares and promenades reflect a history shaped by trade, the sea and culture.

Lunch will take place in El Puerto de Santa María. Afterwards, you will return to Jerez to continue the journey by train towards Córdoba.

Dinner on board en route. Overnight on board.

6th Day (Saturday): Córdoba

On this sixth day of the Al Ándalus Train 2027 itinerary, after gathering strength with breakfast served on board, you will dedicate the full day to Córdoba, one of the great highlights of this route.

During the guided visit, you will discover the Mosque-Cathedral, one of the most extraordinary masterpieces of Andalusian and Christian art, as well as the charm of its historic centre, declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

The day combines heritage, history and beauty, with free time to enjoy the city at leisure and lunch at a local restaurant. In the evening, you will return to the train to enjoy dinner on board.

Overnight in Córdoba.

7th Day (Sunday): Córdoba - Seville

After breakfast, the train will arrive in Seville, a city of light, art and Andalusian character. With one of the largest historic centres in Spain and an exceptional monumental heritage, Seville offers a charming finale to this journey.

During the visit, you will discover some of its most representative sites, among gardens, historic streets and monuments that reflect the grandeur of the city.

After enjoying lunch at a restaurant in Seville, at around 4:00 p.m., the experience will come to an end, leaving you with the memory of an unforgettable journey aboard the Al Ándalus Train, marked by heritage, gastronomy, landscapes and the elegance of travelling without haste.
