Train Al Andalus Itinerary

1st Day: Seville-Jerez

2nd Day: Jerez
The second day tour on the Al AndalusTrain, after replenishing our strength with a good breakfast served on board, we will take a luxury bus to visit a wine cellar in Jerez. There we will know the secrets of making this renowned drink, with Denomination of Origin . In addition, we will stroll through the vineyards and taste the best wines. We will end the visit in Jerez by attending the equestrian show “How andalusian horses dance”.
We will have a traditional lunch in Sanlúcar de Barrameda, in a privileged environment, in front of the marshes of Doñana Park. After lunch we will return to Jerez, and finally continue the route on the Al Andalus train. We will have time to enjoy the beautiful Belle Epoque style lounges before dinner time. We’ll overnight in Jerez.


3rd Day: Jerez-Cadiz-Ronda
After breakfast, we will get on the bus that will take us to Cadiz. We will visit the attractions of the historic center of this ancient city and then we will have free time.
After enjoying a comforting lunch in a traditional restaurant, we will return to Al Andalus train to head for the beautiful White Village of Ronda. We will have dinner on board and we will be able to liven up the evening with performances and shows in the luxurious car lounges. The train will stop in Ronda to spend the night in this town.

4th Day: Ronda-Granada
After breakfast we will set out to explore the ancient city of Ronda, which is part of the route of the beautiful White Villages. Our guide will take you through the Alameda del Tagus, the New Brige and the Old Bridge. You will also see the oldest Bullring in Spain, the Mondragon Palace, among other emblematic places. Before lunch you will have free time to explore Ronda on your own and admire the beautiful views of the mountains.
Back aboard the luxurious Al Andalus Train, we will take the journey to Granada, home to the famous Alhambra. We’ll stay in Granada at night.


5th Day: Granada
This is going to be a very special day! Inside we will see the most visited place in Spain: The Alhambra, World Heritage Site. We will tour the beautiful palaces and gardens of this Nasrid fortress that once was the abode of sultans and kings. Take the opportunity to take photos in the spectacular Nasrid Palaces and its Lions courtyards. And relax strolling through the fabulous gardens and fountains of Generalife summer palace.
In the afternoon there will be free time to explore the centre of Granada on your own. We will finish the evening with dinner in a local restaurant, where you will taste the most select dishes of Granada cuisine .

6th Day: Granada-Baeza-Ubeda
As every day, after breakfast, we will continue the Al Andalus train route. This time we will travel towards Linares station, in Baeza. We will dedicate the day to get to know Ubeda and Baeza, two towns that hold the title of World Heritage Sites. Then we will replenish our strength with a delicious lunch and return to our hotel on wheels to continue on our way to Cordoba.
Along the way, the protagonists will be the unique landscapes of the Andalusian countryside. Take advantage of relaxing with the views, while enjoying a drink lying comfortably in the privacy of your suite or in one of the train cars. Dinner will be served on board and then you can enjoy the evening entertainment programme.


7th Day: Cordoba - Seville
On the last day of the route of the Al Andalus train we will visit Cordoba, an opulent city, capital of the Caliphate of Al Andalus in the medieval period. There we will visit one of its World Heritage sites, the impressive Mosque of Cordoba. Finally we will return to the train to have lunch on the way back to Seville, the starting point, where we will end the journey around 17:00 hours.
