Itinerary 1: Seville – Madrid (7 days/6 nights)
1st Day (Monday): Seville – Jerez
On the first day aboard the Al Ándalus Train, our staff will welcome you at 10:00 am at Alfonso XIII Hotel in Seville, the radiant Andalusian capital. This city, home to the largest historic center in Spain, greets us with a rich heritage and vibrant atmosphere.
After lunch, the experience truly comes to life with the arrival of the train, a warm welcome from the crew, and a celebratory toast before settling into your elegant suite. As the afternoon unfolds, the train gently departs towards Jerez de la Frontera. Dinner is served on board, followed by your first night on this unforgettable journey.

For your convenience, we offer, at no additional cost, travel on Renfe trains in Spain for both the outbound and return journeys:
– One journey to reach Seville.
– One return journey from Madrid.
For example: if you depart from Barcelona, we include train tickets Barcelona – Seville (outbound) and Madrid – Barcelona (return).
All combinations of cities in Spain are accepted, provided there are medium- or long-distance train connections between them.
In addition, you will have access to Renfe’s Club Lounges at the stations for both the outbound and return journeys.
Important: Train tickets must be requested at the time of booking or well in advance of the start date of the trip.
2nd Day (Tuesday): Jerez
On this second day aboard the Al Ándalus, breakfast is enjoyed on board before discovering the authentic soul of Jerez. Known for its renowned wineries, equestrian tradition and distinctive character, the day unfolds through guided visits and time at leisure to explore at your own pace. Lunch and dinner are served on board. Overnight in Jerez.
3rd Day (Wednesday): Jerez -Cádiz – Córdoba
After breakfast, the journey reaches the Atlantic coast with a visit to Cádiz, a luminous city deeply connected to the sea. Wander through its historic center and soak in its unique charm. Lunch is served on board as the train continues towards Córdoba. The afternoon is yours to explore freely before enjoying dinner in a carefully selected local restaurant. Overnight in Córdoba.
4th Day (Thursday): Córdoba – Mérida
The morning is dedicated to Córdoba, with a highlight visit to its iconic Mosque-Cathedral and the legacy of its Andalusian past. Mosque-Cathedral of Córdoba is a breathtaking architectural gem and a witness to the city’s glorious past as capital of the caliphate. As we stroll its streets, we trace the echoes of a city that once shone as a beacon of knowledge and power in the West.
After lunch on board, the journey continues into Extremadura, arriving in Mérida, another monumental jewel founded in 25 BC. Dinner and overnight in Mérida, surrounded by history and luxury.. Dinner and overnight in Mérida.
5th Day (Friday): Mérida – Cáceres – Torrijos
On this fifth day of the journey, we will continue with the exciting itinerary of the Al Ándalus Train.
Following breakfast, the train arrives in Cáceres, one of Europe’s best-preserved medieval cities. A walk through its historic center feels like stepping back in time. The day blends cultural visits, local gastronomy and moments at leisure before continuing towards Torrijos. Dinner is served on board as the journey progresses.
6th Day (Saturday): Torrijos – Toledo – Aranjuez
While enjoying breakfast, the train gently brings us Toledo, a city shaped by centuries of cultural coexistence and remarkable heritage. Explore its streets, viewpoints and artistic landmarks. After lunch, the journey continues to Aranjuez, where the Royal Palace and its gardens provide a stunning setting. Dinner is served on board as the train travels towards Madrid.
7th Day (Sunday): Aranjuez – Madrid
Enjoy your final breakfast on board before arriving in Madrid. The journey concludes with a visit to the highlights of Aranjuez and a farewell gala lunch in the capital — the perfect ending to an extraordinary experience.

4th Day (Thursday): Mérida – Jerez
Breakfast is enjoyed on board as the train travels into Andalusia, arriving in Jerez de la Frontera. The day unfolds around its distinctive cultural identity, shaped by wine, horses and flamenco. There is time to explore the city at your own pace before dinner on board. Overnight in Jerez.
5th Day (Friday): Jerez – Cádiz – Córdoba
After breakfast, the journey heads to Cádiz, a radiant Atlantic city rich in history and character. Lunch is enjoyed in the surroundings of El Puerto de Santa María before returning to Jerez and continuing towards Córdoba. Dinner is served on board as the train travels.
6th Day (Saturday): Córdoba
Breakfast on board precedes a full day dedicated to Córdoba, one of the highlights of the journey. Discover the magnificent Mosque-Cathedral and explore the historic center through guided visits and time at leisure. Lunch is served in a local restaurant. Dinner and overnight in Córdoba.
7th Day (Sunday): Córdoba - Seville
After breakfast, we arrive in Seville, city of light, art, and passion. With the largest historic center in Spain and declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site, Seville bids us farewell with a visit full of charm: fragrant gardens, historic streets, and monuments that touch the soul.
Arrival marks the end of the journey, with a farewell from the crew and a lasting impression of a voyage defined by history, landscapes and unforgettable moments.
